Summer Multisport Camp

Basic information

How will it look like?

Arrival: 8:00 - 10:00 am

Kids can be dropped off or they can also arrive on their own. We will start with games and creative workshops to get to know each other.

Morning: 10:00 - 12:00 am

Let the active part begin! Children will try a new outdoor activity each day: kayaking, sports climbing, treasure hunt, paddling trip.  In case of bad weather, we will switch the days.

Lunch: 12:00 am - 1:00 pm

Afternoon: 1 pm – 5 pm

During afternoon we will continue with sports activities and in the end we will have a creative workshop. We will learn how to tie basic climbing and navy knots, play board games and lot more.

Monday:

Morning: Everybody gets to know each other, we will play icebreaker and trust games.

Afternoon: Basics of canoing and kayaking will be explained. Kids start with an instructor, when they are ready they can go on their own.

Tuesday:

Morning: We continue with paddling and also try sea kayaks.

Afternoon: Speed kayaking and competition from Dunajčík to the bridge and back. There will be two categories – kayak and canoe.

Wednesday:

Morning: Bacics of sport climbing at Platňa – close to the Bratislava castle.

Afternoon: Trip to tha castle and treasure hunt.

Thursday:

Morning: Transfer to Devín.

Afternoon: We will go down Morava or Danube river, so that we finish at Dunajčík. We will have a BBQ and sleep over for those who wish to experience even more!

Friday:

Morning: Paddling from Dunajčík to Ekonomická univerzita.

Afternoon: Building of “raft”, games, archery, slackline and low ropes

In the end a diploma will be given to each child. 

In case of bad weather:

In case of bad weather we can move some of the activities indoors, play XXL games, go indoor climbing and also switch between the days.

About us:

Kayaking club Dunajčík has been founded over 90 years ago. It has over 100 members and one of the goals is to raise a next generation of water sports lovers.

The camp is organized by our club members, who also work as event managers for sports activities for adults and teambuildings. Thanks to that your kids will have a great time.

Price includes:

One voucher for our Easter camp for 5 days (31.7 - 4.8.2017).  The age limit is 8 to 14 years.

The price includes all necessary equipment for kayaking, climbing and workshops, space rental, instructors and luch.

What should I bring?

Sports clothes and shoeas are required. It is also recommended to bring spare clothes in case you got wet or sweaty. We will be happy when you bring your favorite board game. 

Please bring some snack since we only provide lunch. In case of any allergies or health issues we need to be informed.

Conditions:

-  Please bring the voucher you receive after the payment.

-  Age limit is 8 to 14 years. 

- Basic sports fitness and medical fitness is required. Most of the activities are sporty and we want your child to be able to participate.

- Respect camp leaders and safety instructions.

- We reserve the right to cancel the camp in case less than 5 kids enroll.
