Using a map, GPS gadget and your instructor you will be looking for little hidden objects- geocaches which mark your way to a treasure chest. Geocaches can require a small task before you get them, also it can be hidden somewhere and you will be trying to find out where.
The best team, meaning the one which collects all the geocaches in the shortest time, wins a treasure.
We begin with an ice breaker game, to learn names of your colleagues or to start communication in your team if you already know your names. The game will also divide you into smaller teams.
Example of a game: "I have tried" – the game is designed to find out interesting facts about your colleagues. You need to find something you have tried or did before but your colleagues have not yet.
The most important in teambuilding for virtual teams is the real time spent doing something offline together. Therefore, the program consists of two parts – an easy hiking which most people enjoy and teambuilding activities on the way.
Looking for treasure
Geocaching is a good motivation for walking in nature. Moreover, it brings a common topic, so you have something to talk about other than work.
Activities help you to improve your communication and collaboration. You can pick 4 activities from the following:
Team slackline (trust)
Do you trust your colleagues? Try it out on a low rope activity!
Your team needs to agree on how to bring a ball from point A to point B using a pipeline.
Power Tower (collaboration)
In order to build the tower, you need to find out how to communicate without words. Will you succeed?
Part of the team will stand on an iceberg and the other part needs to move them. How will you manage?
A classic game from Activities. One participants is trying to draw something and the rest is trying to guess what is it. However, we can use words which are typical for your company.
Feedback is let by our instructors in form of open questions, e.g.:
- How did you like to activities (to open the discussion)
- What did you learn about your colleagues?
- Do you think you will be able to use something you learnt today in your work?
The answers will be posted on a flipchart paper which you can take for future projects or as a reminder of teambuilding.
Of course, there are many options for feedback. We can also use a game to help you open your mind. Let us know about your team expectations and we will prepare feedback session for you.
We have organized teambuildings for many international groups of sizes from 10 up to 200 participants. Therefore, we assure you that the program will be balanced and can help your team not only have fun, but also increase their collaboration and communication skills.
Our instructors and programs have been highly rated by clients. Moreover, our prices are transparent.
